I am a Ph.D. Student at the School of Computing, The Australian National University. I work in the Robot Decision Making group, primarily supervised by Hanna Kurniawati. Prior to my Ph.D. studies, I earned a BEng in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Curtin University Malaysia, where I graduated with First Class Honours. I have previously interned at Intel as both a Software Engineer and a Platform Application Engineer.

I conduct research in the field of robotics, developing effective algorithms which enables robots to make decisions under the presence of uncertainty. These algorithms are then applied to solve real world problems.

My current research project proposes a novel approach for assessing the safety of autonomous driving systems. We develop a motion planning algorithm to generate dangerous yet realistic collision trajectories for adversarial agents in various road traffic scenarios. The vehicles’ safety level is then indicated by the average distance between safe and colliding adversarial trajectories. This work is recently accepted to the Workshop on the Algorithmic Foundations of Robotics conference. I plan to further extend this work to assure the safety of robotic manipulators.
